After a successful virtual event last year, Distribution America and PRO Group Inc. returned to an in-person format for the 2022 Executive Planning Conference (EPC), held at the Sawgrass Marriott Golf Resort & Spa in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. The conference ran from Nov. 16-18 and included member meetings, receptions and a golf tournament with hole-in-one-contest sponsored by the North American Hardware and Paint Association (NHPA).
“It is so great to be back together again for an in-person event,” says Dave Christmas, president and CEO of Distribution America. “During these three days, thousands of individual meetings took place in conjunction with social and recreational gatherings as we made plans and worked through issues to strengthen our partnerships and continue the explosive growth pattern we have seen for the past few years.”
Other activities included a prayer breakfast and Welcome Back Celebration on Wednesday evening. New vendors displayed their products and all attendees had the opportunity to build digital showcases. The scheduled, one-on-one meetings over the course of two days brought together decision makers for both distributor and manufacturer partners and allowed for the discussion of product launches, promotions, program details and new business opportunities for the coming year.
