The March Project Point featured a flower press that customers can build to preserve and enjoy the bounties of their gardens and create pressed petal projects. While any flowers or plants can be pressed, single-layer petals and flat-faced varieties press the best. Here are some more tips for perfectly pressing flowers:
- Choose flowers close to full bloom with no blemishes, tears or dark spots.
- Make sure flowers are completely dry
- Larger flowers like roses can be split in half before pressing
Along with being great as decor, pressed flowers and plants provide color and interest to craft projects and home decor. Share these projects your customers can make using pressed petal flowers, created with this month’s Project Point flower press.
