The staff at Mountain Colors Paint Store loves the outdoors, loves their customers and especially loves dogs. Owner Kim Raines says she and her staff also love their jobs helping contractors and DIYers with paint and decorating needs, and they have a ton of fun in the process. Part of that fun is having their furry friends in the Crested Butte, Colorado, store with them. Mona, a Boston terrier, belongs to Raines, and if Raines is in the store, Mona is right there with her, she says. Lemon is manager Jacinda Mahan’s golden retriever, and she is also a frequent fixture in the store.
“We work in a pretty dog-friendly town, so most of the time, people really enjoy seeing our dogs in the shop,” Raines says. “And we love having them be a part of our work days too.”
